We fly to Dubai with direct flights or with max one stop. Arrival time in Dubai is sometime between 22:00 and 24:00 depending on which flight is included in your trip. Our representative will meet you on arrival and arrange your transfer to Dibba / Musandam. Tarnsfern to Dibba takes approx. 2 hours.

The boat departs from the harbor in Dibba on the moron and then the dives can begin. On the first day you will do 2 dives and the following days 3 dives per day. There is also a night dive a day which is optional and can be bought on board.

The boat

Dhow is a typical boat type for the region and is used in various designs and décor. These boats are slightly smaller than, for example, the Liveaboards boats in Egypt but they are practical and works well for the purpose. Diving is often done by a smaller boat, where also the dive equipment remains between the dives.

Our partner in Musandam is Al Marsa Musandam, which consists of 4 largely identical ships: Red Dhow, Brown Dhow, Blue Dhow and Queen of Musandam. These boats are approx. 20 meters long with a width of six meters. They are adapted to function as Scuba Liveaboard and offer a cozy environment for their guests. The boats are equipped with air-conditioned lounge with TV / DVD and bar. All boats have water purification systems and all necessary safety equipment (GPS, radar, communication radio). All boats have a partially covered sun deck with sun chairs and seating. Modern navigation technology and safety equipment as life jackets and fire extinguishers are of course on board. Al Marsa Dhows are the only dive cruise ships on the Musandam Peninsula.

Cabins
Standard Cabin: These cabins lack private showers and restrooms

Musandam Liveaboards

Our package tours to Musandam including two way flight to Dubai. After 2 hours of transfer from Dubai, you board one of our Liveaboards. The boats are built in traditional constructions and are called Dhow. These boats are somewhat smaller but clean and practical for diving Liveaboards. Diving takes place from the accompanying smaller boat. You will be offered 17 to 18 dives during the safari.

Package toure to Oman Musandam

The Musandam peninsula belongs to Oman but is separated from the rest of the country. The area is located north of the United Arab Emirates on the Strait of Hormuz. Musandam is surrounded by high mountains stretching along the coast and creates impressive fjords. These spectacular fjords have given the name "The Norway of Arabia" to the region. The best way to explore the diving here is by liveaboard. Here you can expect to see everything from turtles, whale sharks, to Mola Mola and lots of other unexpected exotic animals. The marine life has a large diversity and offers surprises where one least can expect it. The reefs are colorful but the visibility can be limited from time to time, because of the huge amount of plankton in the water.
